Fund Management Services

In-House Alternative Strategies
Innovative Strategies, Unconventional Opportunities

Integra Private Wealth manages a suite of proprietary alternative investment funds designed to deliver returns that are largely uncorrelated to traditional equity and fixed income markets. Each fund is structured as a Professional Investor Fund (PIF) under the MFSA regulatory framework and pursues a distinct strategy — spanning forex, momentum-driven approaches, long/short equity, precious metals, and multi-asset alternatives.

These funds are intended exclusively for Professional Investors. Prior to investing, all prospective investors are required to undergo a suitability assessment and confirm their classification as a Professional Investor.

Third-Party Fund Management
Specialist Strategic Oversight and Institutional Governance

Integra Private Wealth is licensed and authorised to act as Investment Manager to Professional Investor Funds (PIFs) and Notified Professional Investment Funds (NPIFs), operating in full compliance with the AIFMD De Minimis framework and MFSA regulations. This service provides fund promoters, managers, and advisors with a regulated, Malta-based fund management counterparty — without the need to establish their own full AIFM licence.

Integra manages a diverse range of alternative strategies on behalf of third-party fund promoters, including Forex, High Frequency, High Yield Bonds, Long/Short Strategies, Distressed Debt, Momentum-Driven, Private Equity, and Real Estate. Through its network of on-the-ground professionals, Integra also supports independent valuation, accounting procedures, tax advisory, and the establishment of bank and brokerage accounts to support the day-to-day operational requirements of each fund. The minimum mandate threshold for Third-Party Fund Management services is €5,000,000.

Comprehensive Setup for PIFs and NPIFs

Integra Private Wealth offers a fully integrated setup and support service for both Professional Investor Funds (PIFs) and Notified Professional Investment Funds (NPIFs) — providing fund promoters with a single, experienced point of contact throughout the entire establishment and operational lifecycle of their fund.

The NPIF, introduced by the MFSA in December 2023, is specifically designed for De Minimis AIFMs and third-country fund managers seeking an EU-domiciled fund structure that combines the speed and flexibility of offshore vehicles with the credibility of EU regulation. Notably, the NPIF registration process is completed within just 10 business days following submission of the required documentation pack to the MFSA — making it one of the fastest and most cost-effective routes to market currently available within the EU.

Integra is currently the only De Minimis Fund Manager in Malta actively managing multiple NPIFs, and is at the forefront of this evolving framework.

Investment Committee (IC) Expertise and Governance

For self-managed Professional Investment Funds that require external expertise at a macro level, Integra Private Wealth provides experienced, licensed professionals to serve as Investment Committee (IC) members. This service ensures that each fund benefits from high-quality oversight, independent judgment, and regulatory-compliant decision-making — without the need to recruit or retain dedicated in-house investment professionals.

Integra's IC members bring deep expertise across alternative asset classes and investment strategies, and are well-versed in the expectations of the MFSA and the AIFMD framework. Their involvement supports sound investment decision-making, risk parameter and liquidity management oversight, and full adherence to the fund's constitutional and regulatory obligations.
